The workshop will promote blue growth in shipping through partnerships, both public-private and business-to-business. ZVT will participate in the discussion together with prominent BSR green shipping stakeholders: CBSS Expert Group on Maritime Policy – Promoting Green Shipping through Baltic Sea Maritime Dialogue and by HELCOM Maritime. Industry perspective will also be presented by Napa Oy, Solutions for Design and Operation of Ships.
Joining the discussion on partnerships for green shipping in the Baltic Sea Region is an important occasion for ZVT to present its method of collaboration as a good practice example, and by showing its results and findings, to present that it successfully works.
Various stakeholders agree that in order to enable green shipping solutions, a public-private, as well as business-to-business collaboration is needed. The discussion has for more than a few years been focusing on articulating the very need for it, and contribution to the dialogue by various institutions, on international level including European Commission’s TEN-T Motorways of the Sea framework, as well as HELCOM MARITIME sub-group Green Technology and Alternative Fuels for Shipping, and the work
